Talk by Kathy Casimir MacLean, celebrating Black History Month Join Kathy, a local Dominican author, on Fri 20 Oct, 5 to 7pm who will talk about her new book Black Man Listen, The life of JR Ralph Casimir with delicious Caribbean refreshments. The talk, based on her lovingly written biography, by his granddaughter Kathy, explores Casimir’s political & personal life, and sheds much light on little known aspects of Dominica’s march to independence. Papillote Press will be available to sell copies of the book. All welcome; £6 members, £10 non members, includes Caribbean refreshments.
