The Project Perambulator’s walk to Richmond Park

The Project Perambulators will meet outside the Project at 0900 on Friday 1st June. We will catch a train from Tooting and then a bus to Wimbledon Common. We will walk across Wimbledon Common to the Isabella Plantation in Richmond Park, to catch the last of the Azaleas and Rhododendrons. We will then go on to Pembroke Lodge on the edge of Richmond Park. The walk will take about 2½ hours and is roughly 5½ miles. You can buy lunch in Pembroke Lodge or bring a packed lunch. After lunch you can walk down the hill (15 mins) to catch the 65 bus to Kingston or carry on for a further couple of miles ending at Petersham Nurseries for tea and cake. We will then catch the 65 bus to Kingston.
