On Tuesday 19th May 2015, 120 members and guests crammed in to the Furzedown Project to attend a celebration of our 40th Year.

"A Day in the Life of the Furzedown Project" Video
This video was produced by the young people who participated in The Challenge programme (part of the National Citizenship Service) in the summer of 2013. Team Edwards attended over two consecutive days making a record of their impressions and observation of what goes on at the Furzedown Project. The group brought energy and enthusiasm with them and this was infectious to our members who connected with them.

Diwali
The Hindu festival of Diwali was marked at the Project in some style on 25th October. All members were invited to the “ Festival of Lights ” which was celebrated by members telling stories about Lakshmi and the gain or loss of good fortune. There was a delicious banquet of home-cooked spicy vegetarian treats and an afternoon of music, dance and songs.
