You can make a direct donation or set up a standing order (ask reception for a form CAF bank) or donate today on Localgiving.com

We are delighted to be Howden of Tooting’s Charity of the year

Based on the corner of Church Lane/Mitcham Road, Howden Insurance brokers have been raising money for us with cake sales and sponsorship, and promoting us in their offices: https://www.howdeninsurance.co.uk/tooting

Thanks to local fundraisers and supporters, such as Furzedown FACE, FCN and Graveney School who have run events like Quiz Nights and Mufti Days!

Furzedown Annual Charity Events (FACE) has raised money from local quiz nights, sales and raffles to buy things we have needed, such as sponsoring our minibus and paying towards building repairs. Read more on furzedown-face.org.uk

Sales and Raffles

We sell home-made cakes, jewellery, crafts and quality bric-a-brac to raise money. We’d like to thank everyone in the community who come to our sales, buy raffle tickets and provide gifts to sell or as prizes for our raffle.

Sponsored challenges

Helen’s HG-Fit 2024 Fitness Marathon

We are very grateful to supporters who have taken on sponsored challenges to raise money for The Project.

In September 2024 Helen of HG Fit, did a special Fitness Marathon and ran a raffle, raising over £1000. Bob Broad and Alan Coles have both undertook charity cycle rides for The Project. Read more about their amazing efforts on our News pages HERE

Gifts in memory and legacies

We are thankful for all donations and gifts in memory of loved ones. Please also consider leaving a legacy to The Project in your Will, any amount can make a difference and will help us continue to provide activities, support and friendship for many years to come.

As a registered charity we can claim 25% GiftAid from the Inland Revenue on donations from UK tax payers, (although not from Sponsorship or legacies) so a £10 donation is worth £12.50. Please ask the office for details and a form.

Donations

Every little helps, from loose change in the bucket, to regular monthly donations and special gifts in memory of loved ones. 

  • A regular gift of £5 a month will help us answering calls and provide computer access
  • A gift of £25 could help pay towards producing our newsletters (photocopies and emails) every month
  • A gift of £60 could help support Clive’s Advice sessions
  • A gift of £160 could help train a volunteer minibus driver

Please remember to fill out our Gift Aid form if you pay any income tax, as this will allow us to claim an extra 25% from the Inland Revenue on any gift you make, so £20 will be worth £25 to us.

If you would like to make a regular gift you can set up a standing order to our CAF bank account. Please ask at the office for details.
